#1) “Actions and Algorithms for Medical Emergencies:
How to Save a Life, Including Your Own”
This presentation will teach you how to respond to a life-threatening crisis in your office or anywhere. The indications for emergency drug use, along with the appropriate dosages will be reviewed. Developing and maintaining an Emergency Drug Kit will be taught. We will distribute and teach you to use color-coded instructional cards depicting each emergency and the suggested treatment for that emergency through a clear plan to follow. This Seminar incorporates interactive live demonstrations, hands-on drug administration with a multimedia presentation format.

#2) To Pull or Not to Pull
This lecture discusses all the options when a tooth is ailing or failing. It has been presented in 2013 to the Queens County Dental Society, in New York as well as at New York University College of Dentistry: Linhart Dept. of Continuing Dental Education three (3) times during 2013. This was presented to visiting Dentists from Italy, France and Spain at NYU College of Dentistry.
This lecture presentation has been completely updated to reflect the state of the art in Dental Implantology and has now been presented in 2022 at the: South Dakota Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association Annual Meeting, in Portland and the Annual Meeting for the Colorado Dental Association in Vail, Colorado.

There are more medically compromised patients coming to dental offices than ever before due to advances in medical technology and breakthrough medications. The Ultimate Creative Challenge
This presentation discusses the preparation and workup to create a result that is as close to natural replacement as possible. Dr Pompa reviews the latest advances and evidence based data as well as a unique sequential treatment planning approach which when adhered will lead to successful outcomes. This may be one of the most difficult challenges we face and is often not seen as such with unforeseen poor outcomes. Emphasis will be given to the use of a cast provisional and/or a provisional interim Hawley device and/or a fixed provisional prosthesis to attain ideal results.
